Fantasy Recap: May 2

By CHRIS NICHOLS -- SLAM! Sports

Philadelphia 7 Toronto 2 (Philadelphia leads series 3-2)

This was an "ouch" game on several fronts... The Leafs got totally spanked in a game they badly wanted to win after coming back to tie the series at 2 (Ouch)... Robert Esche went down with an injury early in the game and Sean Burke spelled him (Ouch)... Ed Belfour got pulled after allowing 6 goals on 18 shots (Ouch)... Vlad Malakhov was also lost to injury (Ouch)... Ken Klee got hurt and didn't return (Ouch)... In scoring news, Keith Primeau was huge for Philly, delivering a hat trick and an assist. Primeau now has a grand total of 5G, 3A in 10GP... Alex Zhamnov has now been shut out for two straight games after scoring in the first eight of the playoffs... Mark Recchi scored his first goal since the second game of the post-season against New Jersey... Jeremy Roenick drew an assist in the first game of this series and has done nothing offensively since... Simon Gagne had three assists and now has five points in this series... Danny Markov has one point in each series so far... Joe Nieuwendyk returned to score his sixth goal of the playoffs... Bryan McCabe and Bryan Leetch combined to go minus nine in this game... Leetch had his assist streak stopped at six games... Ron Francis has two points in his last three games... Gary Roberts scored his first goal since Game Four of the Ottawa series... Alex Mogilny has three points in his last five games after getting blanked in his first seven... Nik Antropov still has no points in this series and only two overall... Tomas Kaberle has points in back-to-back contests after scoring one point in his first ten... After his 20 minutes of sin Sunday, Tie Domi has 39 PIM's in the playoffs.
