Fantasy Recap: May 29
By CHRIS NICHOLS -- SLAM! Sports
Calgary 3 Tampa Bay 0 (Calgary leads series 2-1)
Saturday night Jarome Iginla had a goal, an assist and a fight that will be remembered for awhile - Gordie Howe would be proud... How great was it to see Vinnie Lecavalier drop the gloves? Lecavalier has been adding a physical dimension to his game and this makes his even more valuable in fantasy leagues... According to ESPN, Miikka Kiprusoff joins only Dom Hasek and Martin Brodeur as goalies to record at least one shutout in all four playoff rounds... With two points in Game Three, Chris Simon is actually ahead of his surprising regular season scoring pace (Playoffs: 7 points in 12GP; 28 points in 78 regular season games)... Jordan Leopold now has nine points in the post-season and will be looking to hit 40 points when next season rolls around... Shean Donovan's fifth playoff goal is about even with his goal-every-four-games pace of the regular season... Robyn Regehr has a nice four-game point streak going... Martin St. Louis had his five-game streak stopped... Freddie Modin has but one goal in his past six outings... Brad Richards had six shots, but his five-game point streak was still halted Saturday... Cory Stillman has one point in seven games (Only 6 points in 18GP total) after finishing tied for seventh in regular season scoring.
