Fantasy Recap: May 20
By CHRIS NICHOLS -- SLAM! Sports
Philadelphia 5 Tampa Bay 4 (Series tied 3-3)
Keith Primeau's phenomenal playoffs continued with this 2G, 2A effort; he now has a four-game point streak with 16 points in all. And oh yeah: the guy has 9 playoff goals when he only scored 7 in his 54 regular season games... Simon Gagne hadn't scored a goal since the fourth game of the Toronto series, but when placed on Primeau's line in this game Gagne immediately scored and then netted the winner in overtime to send the series back to Tampa for a deciding Game Seven... Jeremy Roenick (Two assists) had no points in the three games coming into this match... Alex Zhamnov has two points in three games now... Mattias Timander has four points in his last five games... Vlad Malakhov has four points in this series... Sami Kapanen's goal was his fourth point of this series.
Vinnie Lecavalier notched his third 2-goal game of the playoffs here... Ruslan Fedotenko has really turned it on in this series and he has five goals in his past five games...Martin St. Louis has 1G, 5A in his last five games... Brad Richards continues to shine in the post-season with 15 points in 15GP. To all the writers opining about this great "revelation" that Richards has been in the playoffs, where have you been for the 153 points he's recorded in his past 162 regular season games? Dave Andreychuk is still providing some fantastic stats and added another two assists Thursday night, giving him 10 points in his last 9GP... Nik Khabibulin has only given up three or more goals four times in the entire post-season including this game and this was his first overtime loss (2-1) in the post-season.
