Fantasy Recap: Apr. 26
By CHRIS NICHOLS -- SLAM! Sports
San Jose 1 Colorado 0 (San Jose leads series 3-0)
Oh no. 36-year old Vincent Damphousse scored his 3rd goal and 9th point of the playoffs to give San Jose its fifth straight playoff win and seventh of eight games in the post-season... Patrick Marleau's 3rd assist of the playoffs was also his 10th point and he's now scored in four straight games... Scott Hannan had the only other point of this game, his fourth overall - all of which have come in the past five game winning streak... Evgeni Nabokov recorded his second shutout of the post-season and has allowed 11 goals in 8 GP... Niko Dimitrakos had three shots in this game and he's looked great on the Marleau/ Damphousse line...Teemu Selanne created a great scoring chance in the first period and was inches away from scoring on Nabby in the third period... Peter Forsberg failed to get a point for the first game in this year's playoffs... Milan Hejduk had six chances to score on Nabokov and he had scored four goals in five games coming into Monday... Aside from the two assists in the opener in San Jose, Joe Sakic has been shut down from getting points... David Aebischer's GAA total in this series has been steadily declining (5, 3, and 1), but it may be too late... Rob Blake (Hurt in the first period) has no points in this series and has been shut out for four games straight... Alex Tanguay has failed to get a shot on goal in the two games he's played in this series... John-Michael Liles had an assist in the opener against Dallas, but hasn't been in the scoring summary since then - although he hit the post in this game.
