Fantasy Recap: Apr. 18
By CHRIS NICHOLS -- SLAM! Sports
Ottawa 2 Toronto 1 2OT (Series tied 3-3)
Mike Fisher's GWG was his first point of the series... the winning pass came from Antoine Vermette, who scored his first point of the series... Vermette is the guy taking Jason Spezza's spot in the lineup... Zdeno Chara's goal to tie the game at 1 was also his first point of this series, giving Ottawa a great surge from guys that hadn't had a chance to produce thus far... Daniel Alfredsson had five shots but no points, but his promise of a win Sunday night still came to fruition. Alfie has 1G, 2A in this series... Tough guy Chris Neil came through with his first point vs. Toronto also... Patrick Lalime made 27 saves and has had a great series, which should end all speculation of the Sens trying to deal Lalime this summer - no matter what happens on Tuesday night... Ed Belfour has been "in a zone" as they say on CBC regularly and is a proven clutch playoff guy... Bryan McCabe's goal, although not clean, was his second of the series... Nik Antropov has but one assist against Ottawa, but at least he didn't take any penalties Sunday night and actually made some nice plays... Brian Leetch's assist was his third so far... Aside from his assist in Game Four, Alex Mogilny has been shut down...Ron Francis almost had a goal, but it went off the post. Francis has two assists so far... Gary Roberts drew his first assist of the series on McCabe's goal, but Roberts does have three goals of his own.
